The lengths of the sides connecting those given vertices to the origin:
[ (1 - 0)^2 + (1 / 1 - 0)^2 ]^0.5 = √2 units
[ (2 - 0)^2 + (1 / 2 - 0)^2 ]^0.5 = (√17) / 2 units
If the angle opposite the side passing through the given points is θ, then applying the Law of Cosines;
