[80·(1 - 0.08) + Water] / (80 + Water) = 1 - 0.05 ⇒ Water = 48 oz.

Numerical Verification:
Amount of salt at the beginning: 80·0.08 = 6.4 oz
Amount of water at the beginning: 80·0.92 = 73.6 oz
After adding 48 oz. pure water;
the percentage of salt is 6.4 / (80 + 48) = 0.05
the percentage of pure water is (73.6 + 48) / (80 + 48) = 0.95
